Streamline Black & White Taxis Ltd has origins dating back to 1937 when a group of Bristol Hackney Carriage Drivers decided to set up a Taxi Owner Association (TOA) to enable them to transport passengers from home, work and social locations via a telephone line rather than just being hailed on the streets. Thus creating more  business for those involved. Over the next sixty-seven years the Company was to become one of the largest and  most respected Public Hire Taxi companies in the South West.
